Staged homes sales faster

The national Association of REALTORS published a report this year that showed staged homes sold faster and at higher margins than un-staged.

Eighty-two percent of buyers agents said staging a home made it easier to for a buyer to visualize the property as their future home…(2021 Profile of home staging NAR)

Selling a property or renting it is one thing.  Getting higher than asking, well that’s a whole new ball game.  In the 2021 report by NAR is pointed out that when staging a home, 23 percent of seller’s agents reported an increase of one -five percent of the dollar value offered by the buyers, in comparison to similar homes.

It is interesting to note that 47% of buyers agents cited that home staging had an effect on most buyers view of the home most of the time. Of all the rooms in a house, staging the living room (90%) followed by kitchen (80%) then by the master bedroom (78%) and the dining room (69%) were the most important rooms to stage.  The least useful room to stage is a guest room.

Staging is an important part of sales rather its a rental or purchase.  You don’t need to stage the entire house only the key rooms that gives the prospect a visual blueprint of what is possible in a space.  The take home is to make the space fill inviting, bright, and up to date.  This way you are sure to attract your target audience
